Hurghada Marina Boulevard opened in spectacular style attracting over 20,000 people to the Grand Opening Weekend on the picturesque Red
Sea coastline.
Crowds witnessed live bands performing including local's favourites Nabil and Daoud during the 6th and 7th June. Alongside international artists; Franky's Flying Circus (wild 4-piece Dutch band), Disco T & the Boogie Express featuring the Love Doctors (an original-themed disco band),
Scratch! (an international all-female band) and old-skool Rock band Road Pizza, all of whom wowed the onlookers across two music stages
within the marina.
Speaking exclusively on the opening night, Managing Director of Hurghada Marina Boulevard, Mr Paul Evans said: "We've done it! Thousands and thousands of people, friends, contacts, families, tourists and locals - everyone's here to witness this momentous occasion... and to think, this is only
the start!"
As everyone entered the newly launched marina, the region's only Bungee Rocket prepares to catapult thrill-seekers into the air at almost 100
kph in just under 2 seconds! Meanwhile below, the champions of atmosphere Papas Bar are busy at work serving as many people as humanly possible. Neighbouring them ultra-chic art gallery Canvas by William displays some magnificent pieces, as Sushi Gushi supplies some pure rawness.
Super-modern concept bar and grill Shade, proves it's definitely cooler in the Shade. Italian ice-cream parlour Due Soli serves up some delicious delights, while Bistro del Mar (sister venue to the city's Cafe del Mar) dished up some extra special Mediterranean cuisine.
Children's clothes store Kanz had the children dragging in the parents, Go Fresh meanwhile served fresh juices for people to sample whilst admiring some hand-crafted work in the Al Nol shop.
